Misses Bernice Laidlaw and Katie Reed went to Lime Springs Saturday to attend the funeral of Geo. Reed's little girl.

Lime Springs.

Little Helen Reed, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Reed, died at their home at Merriam Park, Minn. Last week Thursday, after an illness of a month’s duration. She was at first taken sick with whooping cough, but this finally terminated in pneumonia.

The remains were brought down from the city on the afternoon train Saturday and were met by a large circle of sympathizing friends. No services were held here, the funeral train going direct from the depot to the cemetery. The entire community extend their many expressions of sympathy and condolence to the bereaved parents in this, their sad affliction.
