Albert Leitz funeral held at Lime Springs

Funeral services for Albert Leitz, 81, were held Monday at the St. Paul's Lutheran church in Lime Springs with the Rev. Paul Nelson officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery with the Lindstrom Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. He died March 19, at the Howard County hospital. Mr. Leitz was born Feb. 11, 1896 near Lime Springs, the son of Mr. and Mrs. August Leitz. He was a retired carpenter, and a veteran of World War I.
Survivors include his son Gordon of Waterloo; step son Willard Lloyd of Lime Springs; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Alma Bush of Black River Falls, Wis., Mrs. Martha Hovey of Lime Springs and Mrs. Minnie Hughes of Fairmont, Minn.
