Monticello, Minn. - Timothy Alan Wohlsdorf, age 62 of Monticello, Minn. passed away on Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016 at Lake Ridge Care Center of Buffalo, Minn. Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016 from 1-2 p.m. at Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel, 250 East Broadway, Monticello. There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. with Pastor Dwight Peterson officiating. There will be a private interment. Funeral arrangements are with the Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel of Monticello.

Tim was born on Nov. 5, 1953 in Cresco, Iowa to Ronald and Kay (Sutter) Wohlsdorf. He grew up in Cresco, attended high school there and then moved to Florida for a time. He then moved to Minneapolis, where he met Susan Parham. They were married in 1980. He earned a degree in Culinary Arts in 1980 and made his career working as a chef with various restaurants and convention centers. He was also an artist and enjoyed painting, sculpting and wood burning. Cooking and art were his passions. He loved being with family and friends.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Kay, and his brother, Greg.

He is survived by his wife, Susan; a son, Matthew; a stepfather, Paul Pemble of Cresco; a brother, Chad (Amannda) Pemble of New Hampton, Iowa; and sisters, Julie Pemble of Cresco, and Sheri (Randy) Wohlsdorf Greenslade of Harmony, Minn.
