Christopher Alford Nitcher, 69, of Lime Springs, Iowa passed away June 7, 2010 at Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota. Funeral services will be held on Friday June 11, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Manly, Iowa with Pastor Linda Johnson Prestholt officiating. Burial will be at Woodbury Cemetery in Lyle, MN. There will be a visitation one hour before services at the church. Lindstrom Funeral Home of Cresco, Iowa is in charge of the arrangements.
Christopher was born in Mitchell County near Otranto, Iowa on July 5, 1940 to Christopher and Delcie (Palmer) Nitcher. He attended local schools and graduated from Chester High School in 1959. He was a farmer.
Survivors include numerous cousins.
Christopher was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Deloris.
