Cresco- Funeral services for Mrs. J. S. Marsh, 79, who died at her home here Monday, were held Wednesday afternoon at the Baptist Church with the pastor, the Rev. James Fleck, in charge. Burial was in Oak Lawn Cemetery.

As Mary Brierly she was born in Philadelphia, Pa., Nov. 10, 1862, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Brierly. The family moved to Cresco in 1870.

She was married here May 3, 1887, to Mr. Marsh, who died in 1915.

Surviving are an adopted son, William Marsh of Lamont; one brother, William Brierly of Cresco; and a sister, Mrs. Jennie Rafferty of Grinnell.

A brother, sister, and one child also preceded her in death.
