Sudden Death.

Thursday afternoon the wife of Richard Buffton, residing on the George Morse farm in New Oregon died very unexpectedly. She was well at noon and ate a hearty dinner. Her husband went to the field at his usual work and she was doing something about the yard when she dropped to the ground. The children ran to the field and called their father but on his arrival found her prostrate and limpse. Physicians were summoned from Cresco but to no avail. Dr Barrett informs us that it was probably appoplexy{sp} and that in all probability death was instantaneous. She was a woman of about 36 years and in perfect health as supposed.
