Mrs. Roxana Yarrington, wife of Andrew J. Yarrington, departed life April 10, 1895, being nearly 66 years of age. Mrs. Yarrington had been a resident of New Oregon, residing where she died, for nearly or quite half the years of her life. There she reared her family of three sons and one daughter, who, with her husband remain to mourn her death. She was a good, quiet unobtrusive woman, a good wife, mother, and neighbor. The funeral will be at the school house south of the family at 2 o’clock p. m., Friday, The interment will take place in New Oregon cemetery.

OBITUARY
Died—At her home in New Oregon township, Howard County, Iowa, April the 10th, 1895, Mrs. Roxana Yarrington, aged 65 years 11 months and 16 days.
The deceased was born in Portland township, Chautauqua county, New York, April 26th 1829; moved with her parents to Crawford county, Pa., when a child. She was united in marriage on the 13th day of January 1852 to A. J. Yarrington. In 1857 she moved with her husband to New Oregon where she resided until her death. She leaves a husband and four children, three sons and one daughter, to mourn her loss. In 1860 she united with the Universalist church at New Oregon. Five years ago last September, she had a paraletic stroke from which she has been an invalid ever since, and for the last three months has suffered a great deal and was anxious to go home where there is no more suffering, or sorrow, or death, but where the weary are at rest.
