DIED.

RIVER--At the residence of Abram River in township, July 20, 1893, of consumption, Mrs. Alice River, aged 28 years 5 months and 29 days.

Deceased was born in Dunbar Canada removed with her parents Mr. and Mrs. McDonald to Emory, S. D., in 1881, and was united in marriage with A. L. River Dec., 27 1888. Two children were born to them one of which a boy three years old survives. Her health failing she came to Cresco last December with her husband in hopes of getting relief from her illness intending to return to Dakota in the spring. The husband and his motherless boy have the sympathy of all.
