Kandice L. Becker, age 54, of Cresco, IA passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at home surrounded by her family.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at First Lutheran Church in Cresco, Iowa. Visitation will be held 4:00 to 7:00 pm Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at the Hindt-Hudek Funeral Home, 404 North Elm Street, Cresco, IA. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.

Kandice Rollins was born August 9, 1960, daughter of Marvin Rollins and Beverly (Cameron) Counsell in Osage, IA. On July 21, 1990, Kandice married Ryan Becker in Bloomington, Minnesota. Kandice was a caring person that had a passion for helping others. She often put the needs of her family and friends before her own. Kandice worked in housekeeping at the Hospital, but most recently at the Post Office and Police Station. She took great pride in her work. Kandice was known as the "Queen of Snacks" by her family. Everywhere that they traveled, she was prepared for the occasion with a snack. Kandice enjoyed planting flowers, cleaning, animals, especially cardinals, and going fishing.

Kandice is survived by her husband Ryan Becker of Cresco, daughter Ashlee (Logan) Kelly of Fairmont, MN, her mother Bev Counsell of Cresco, IA, her siblings Mark (Ede) Rollins of Decorah, IA, Robin Emerson of Cresco, IA, Joel (Nancy) Rollins of Claremont, MN, and Garth Searcy of Wyoming.

Preceding her in death is her father Marvin.
