FOUND DEAD.--About five weeks ago, Charles Lass, left for Arizona, on account of lung troubles, but the climate of that country not proving conducive to his health he returned to this place. He arrived at New Hampton very much emanciated,{sic} but on Saturday evening bought a ticket for Elma at the K C depot, when the north bound passenger arrived he was missed by those accompanying him and it was not known what had become of him until he was found dead Sunday afternoon under a bridge of the C M & St P R R, about a mile east of New Hampton. A coroners inquest was held but we have not hear the verdict at this writing.
