DIED.

PECKHAM--April 16, 1890, in the 58th year of her age, Melissa Peckham, wife of Andrew L. Peckham.

Deceased was born at Watertown, N. Y., Dec. 19th 1832, she removed with her parents to Genesee county, where she was married to A. L. Peckham, with whom she removed to Iowa in the spring of 1856.

She was a faithful member of the M. E. Church, to the interests of which she was earnestly devoted. Her faith was the victory which enabled her to overcome, and her christian life and spirit was well worthy of example. The husband mourns a faithful and devoted wife, and the four sons and two daughters who are left, will remember her as a self sacrificing mother. The funeral was held April 18th; services conducted by Rev. J. Gammons. G.
