Another Old Settler Gone.

Mr. Nye Cushing, a native of Vermont, who has been a resident of this county for 36 years, died at his home in New Oregon, where for all that time he had resided, on Sunday, March 30, 1890, aged nearly seventy-five years. He leaves surviving him his widow, now nearly eighty, and four children, three sons and a daughter. The old gentleman had been feeble, for quite a number of years, hence has been seldom seen in town. He was a quiet, inoffensive man, a good citizen and neighbor, and an honest man The funeral was from the family residence on Tuesday, the interment being in the New Oregon cemetery.
