Sudden Death.

Last Sabbath Mrs. Lannon, of Howard Center was in attendance at church in Cresco, and a caller at the home and death-bed of Martin Mullen. On Monday evening she was taken sick at her home six miles west of Cresco, and before medical aid arrived death had come to her relief expiring in two or three hours from the time of the first attack. Mrs. Lannon was in the neighborhood of sixty years of age. She was a kindly disposed woman, a good neighbor and friend.

Frank Creamer and wife, accompanied by Miss Jennie Mullen, sister to Mrs. Creamer, returned to Crookston, Minn. Although their visit has been attended with a great deal of sorrow, it still must afford them all much satisfaction. Mrs. Creamer and her sister were very unexpectedly called to mourn the death of their father Martin Mullen, while here, and Mr. Creamer as unexpectedly to mourn the death of a sister of his mother, Mrs. Lannon. Its consoling feature is the fact that had their visit been deferred to some later day, the opportunity to see a father alive and in health, though now cold in death, would have been lost, and likewise of Mr. Creamer with his aunt and his father-in-law.
