DIED.

GLASS--Mary A., wife of Wm. A. Glass, at her home in New Oregon township, Friday, May 11, 1888, aged eighty years, one month and twenty-one days.

Deceased, whose maiden name was Mary A. Miller was born in Munster, Cambria Co., Penn., March 20, 1808.

She was married to Wm. A. Glass at Loretto, Cambria Co., Pa., Nov. 5, 1833; they celebrated their golden wedding at their home in New Oregon, Nov. 5, 1883.

They settled after marriage in Indiana Co., Penn., moving from there to Cambria county in 1847, where they resided until removing to Iowa in 1864.

She was the mother of nine children, eight of whom are still living. Seven of them being residents of Howard county, and one daughter residing in New Hampton.

A true wife and mother, loved and cherished, has gone to her eternal rest and may God
