John O. Miles residing on the county line two miles north-east of Cresco died very unexpectedly last Friday morning. He had been to Cresco to deliver a load of live hogs, and returned for another load and while engaged in loading them was taken ill and started for the house assisted by his family, but gave out before reaching there, dying in a few moments. He has been troubled for some time with heart disease which was the cause of his death. He was about 53 years of age, residing near Cresco for more than thirty years and was an obliging neighbor and a good citizen.
