Mrs. Brown, wife of the Rev. C. E. Brown, of the Baptist church here, died much lamented on Sunday evening at 5 p.m. Her lasts illness was tedious and painful, but was borne with the same bravery and patience with which she had long borne the infirmity of deafness and the weakness of advancing age. She was a bright example of the power of true religion; one well fitted to attract and cheer both young and old. Her husband, sons and friends deeply feel their great loss.
