MEAD--In Busti New York, August 13, 1886 Levantia, wife of Thompson G. Mead, aged about 56 years.

Although deceased had been a confirmed invalid for a great number of years, death came to her relief very unexpectedly to her and to her family an friends. Over thirty-five years ago she was joined in wedlock with our brother, Thompson, who with four children survive her. Three children have crossed over the silent river awaiting on its golden shore the coming of their mother. For them she had mourned her life away. Those who survive her have the sympathy of brothers and friends every where.
