Man Killed.
On Monday night a man named Welch who once worked for Jos. Irvin of Afton and formerly for the Bentz boys near Cresco, filled up on some pharmacy goods and laid down on the railroad track at Elma in this county, when the freight train came along and took off his head. These pharmacy fellows ought to use a medicine that would'nt{sp} prompt the suffering patient to sleep on a railroad track.
