A graveside service for Susan Pater will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 25, 2014 at the Chester Hill Cemetery in Chester, Iowa.

Susan M. Pater, age 61, of Austin, MN passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at St. Marks Lutheran Home in Austin, MN.

Susan Marie Ramaker was born May 20, 1953 in Cresco, Iowa to Delmar and Marie (Hansen) Ramaker. Susan loved to watch game shows and the birds outside. She had a love for animals, especially her dogs. Susan was also known as the “Cockatiel Lady.”

Susan is survived by her children, Theresa (Mike) Maas of Dexter, MN and Justin (Heather) Pater of Glenville, MN; grandchildren, Brittany Maas, Jocelyn Pater, and Hailey Pater; mother, Marie (Dick Riles) Ramaker of Lansing, MN; brother, Jeff (Georgia) Ramaker of Lyle, MN; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Delmar Ramaker, brother, Delmar “Butch” Ramaker, sister, Sally Ann, and maternal and paternal grandparents.
