E. R. B. Mead, cousin of the editor of this paper, and an old resident of Rock county, Wis., died at his home in Beloit, Tuesday last, from a stroke of paralyses of the heart. "Rease" Mead was born near Gloversville, Fulton county, N. Y. in 1825, and was therefore sixty years of age at time of death. He had lived in Newark township about eight miles west of Beloit for about thirty-seven years, and for the past two years has been a resident of Beloit. He leaves a wife, two sons, Lewis and Bradley, and a daughter, and many friends to mourn his loss.--{Waterloo, (Wis.) Democrat. Dec. 26, 1885.
