DIED.

LENT--In Cresco, Sept. 15, 1885, Alice, wife of Wilmer B. Lent aged 20 years and one month.

The deceased was the youngest daughter of R. O. Thayer, deceased. She leaves mother, sister and brother surviving her. She was an amiable, good and true woman. Her married life begun in June last. Her disease was peritonitis, and was so acute a form that it baffled medical skill. Her attending physician, Dr. Barrett was indefatigable in his efforts to afford relief, and when needed had the counsel and advice of Drs. Roome and McCollum. With the afflicted husband and friends universal sympathy is extended.
