Sudden Death.

W. R. Davis, a mechanic in town was assisting in taking down a stable on Mrs. Bond's premises Tuesday morning, being assisted by Mr. Watts. Davis was standing on the ground knocking boards from the roof with his hammer and throwing them behind him. He asked Watts to take them away, which he was doing when he heard a strange noise and turning around saw Davis on the ground; advancing a step or two to his side, he found him already dead. The deceased was about 67 years old, an honest man and a good citizen.
