FUNERAL SERVICE FOR HENRY A. BIGALK HELD SATURDAY AFTERNOON
Member of Howard County Board of Supervisors Died Last Wednesday at Home in North AlbionThe funeral of Henry A. Bigalk, who died last Wednesday morning, was held Saturday afternoon at the Baptist church in Cresco. The Rev. L.W. Verts, pastor of the church, had charge of the service. Burial was in the Oaklawn cemetery.
Mr. Bigalk, who became a member of the Howard county board of supervisors January 1, was born and lived his entire life on the farm, north of Cresco, known as the Bigalk homestead. He was born October 19, 1887, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bigalk, who preceded him in death. He was married to Belle Goldsworthy of Harmony, Minnesota, on October 22, 1913. Besides his widow, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Harland Isenberg of Nevada; two grandchildren, Kenneth Lee and Ruth Ann Isenberg; two sisters, Mrs. Edward Wendorf of Duluth, Minnesota, and Mrs. Roger Clark of Cresco.
Relatives and friends from a distance who attended the funeral were Henry Fischer, Ernie Buelke and Helen Mae of Juneau, Wisconsin; Amil Blatter of Bemidji, Minnesota; Dr. and Mrs. Edward Goetsch and son, James, of Cedar Falls; Mrs. Edwin Wegen and son, Kermit of Preston; Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Pfister and son, Gordon, of Decorah; Mrs. George Volkman of Preston; Mrs. O.W. Clark and Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Clark of Minneapolis; Mr. and Mrs. I.R. Isenberg of Primghar; Mrs. Leslie Beach and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Young of Canton.
