Julia (McDermitt) Zender – May 1890- July 1, 1952

LIFELONG RESIDENT OF CRESCO SUCCUMBS

Cresco – Mrs. Charles Zender, 62, lifelong Cresco resident died Tuesday of a heart ailment in Asbury Hospital, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Funeral services will be held Thursday morning in the assumption Catholic church in Cresco, the Rev. Vernon J Peters officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery west of Cresco.

Mrs. Zender’s maiden name was Julia McDermott. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs John t. McDermott. She was married to Charles Zender, November 7, 191.

She is survived by him, three daughters and two sons, Mrs William Doolan, Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Deith Fields, Minneapolis, Minnesota; Mrs Robert Phillips, Ft. Benning, Georgia; Victor Zender, Kewanee, Illinois; Charles Jr. Zender, Denver, Colorado; seven grandchildren and one brother John B. McDermott, Cresco.
