OBITUARY. Betts

Vergie Evangeline Betts, the only daughter of Edwin and Flossie Betts was born at Cresco, Iowa, Feb. 9, 1909. When three years of age she moved with her parents to Wayside, Neb., where she died Feb. 15, 1922, at the age of 13 years and six days.

Her entire life was one of joy and happiness like a shining path. She knew no evil of any one and was loved by every one who knew her.

While this dear girl leaves her parents and friends in deepest mourning, they have the memory of her beautiful life as a comfort in their sorrow.

She leaves to mourn her death her father, mother, and little brother, her grandparents, Mr. and Mr. P.M. Banning and Mrs. Mary A. Betts, and many other relatives.

Funeral services conducted by Rev. E.D. Wells were held Sunday at the P.M. Banning home, with
interment at Oak Lawn.
