Herbert Bigalk, 80, funeral held Monday

Services for Herbert Bigalk were held Monday morning at Immanuel Lutheran church in Cresco with Intern Paul Andree officiating. Burial was in Oak Lawn cemetery. Bradley-Lindstrom Funeral Home made the arrangements.

Herbert died Saturday, Oct. 7 in the Howard County hospital at the age of 80.

He was born March 15, 1898, north of Cresco to Mr. and Mrs. Otto Bigalk.

Survivors are two sisters, Edna Bigalk and Mrs. Lena Anderson of Cresco; a brother-in-law Orville Allen of Cresco and a sister-in-law Mrs. Vera Betts of Decorah.
