Ruth A. Tuchek, of Cresco, IA passed away peacefully on December 29, 2013 at the Cresco Care Center.

Ruth was born in Cresco on August, 28th, 1922 to Joseph and Esther (Ferrie) Tuchek.
Ruth went to school in Cresco and graduated in 1940 from Cresco High School. She then worked for many years at the Cresco Clinic and was also a personal caregiver. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed nice cars. In fact, Ruth owned the first Ford Mustang in Cresco.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and also by four brothers; John, Joseph, Lloyd and Rudy.
She is survived by one brother, Dave Tuchek, and many nieces and nephews.

Ruth’s final wishes were for her body to be cremated and for family members to hold a private prayer service.
