Mrs. Mable Brierley Funeral Conducted Here

Funeral services for Mrs. Mable Brierley were held Nov. 28 at the Baptist church. The Rev. Charles Kirtley officiated. Burial was in the Oaklawn cemetery with the Bradley-Lindstrom Funeral home in charge of arrangements.

Mable Alice McPherson Brierley was born on Dec. 17, 1878 at Mills Junction, Indiana. At an early age she moved with her family and settled in Howard county for many years.

In 1902 she was married to Benjamin B. Brierley. Following the death of her husband in 1929 she lived in California, Indiana, Virginia and returned to Cresco in 1950.

Mrs. Brierley is survived by her children, Gertrude Spahn, Sue Brierley, Martha McGovern, Robert Brierley, and Kathleen Foster; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
