Ronald Witt, Jr., age 37, of Cresco, Iowa passed away Wednesday, January 1, 2014 in Cresco, Iowa.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 6, 2014 at Hindt-Hudek Funeral Home, 404 North Elm Street, Cresco, Iowa 52136. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. Visitation for Ronald will be from 1:00 until the time of service on Monday.

Ronald L. Witt, Jr. was born on July 19, 1976, son of Ronald and Kaye (Ott) Witt, Sr. in Iowa City, Iowa. On August 6, 2003, he was united in marriage to Tammy Guess at the Howard County Courthouse. He worked for Buyer’s Market Auto Sales and Auto Detailing in Cresco, and enjoyed working on cars. He previously had worked as a welder for Featherlite. Ronald loved spending time with his children.

He is survived by his wife Tammy; children Kyle, Kaylin, Dalton, Casandra, Merry, and Stacy; father Ronald Witt Sr.; brother Michael; and mother-in-law Rosetta Guess all of Cresco, and several aunts and uncles.

Ronald was preceded in death by his mother Kaye; sister Kathryn; maternal grandparents Herb and Loretta Ott; paternal grandparents Art and Louise Witt; and his cousin April Moore.
