LOSES LIFE IN
CAR ACCIDENT

Funeral services were held last Thursday for Mrs. David Rowe, 29, who died as the result of a car accident near Dillon, Colorado, September 4, 1971. The car, which was being driven by her husband, skidded on the ice-coated highway, throwing them over the embankment. Her husband and two young children survived.

Rev. C. Smeby, church pastor, was in charge of the rites at First Lutheran church in Cresco. Burial was at the New Oregon cemetery.

Carolyn Jane Severson was born on Feb. 8, 1942 at New Hampton, the daughter of Albert and Georgia Severson. David and Carolyn were married on June 14, 1964, in Cresco. They established their home in Laramie, Wyoming, where they lived until the present.

Surviving are her husband, and two children, Peter David, 6, and Lisa Anna, 3, of Laramie; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A.C. Severson of Cresco; and a brother, George Severson of Eau Claire, Wis.

Preceding her in death were her sister, Jonette Sue, and her grandparents.
