Henry C. Bareis Funeral Services In Cresco Today

Funeral services for Henry C. Bareis,75, retired Cresco business man, who died suddenly early Monday morning following a heart attack, are being held this (Wednesday) afternoon in the Cresco Immanuel Lutheran church. Mr. Bareis, previous to the heart attack, had not been in ill health.

The services are being conducted by the Rev. E.C. Franke, pastor, and burial will be made in the Oak Lawn cemetery. The Bradley-Lindstrom Funeral home is in charge of the arrangements.

Henry Carl Bareis, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Bareis, was born at Postville, April 12, 1884. He was baptized in infancy in the Saint Paul's Lutheran church at Postville, and was later confirmed in the same church.

Mr. Bareis was married to Louise Stopperan at Postville, on February 2, 1909. Mr. and Mrs. Bareis became the parents of one son, Lester.

Mr. and Mrs. Bareis lived in Cresco all of their married life.
