Annie T. Skjel was born in Valders, Norway, December 17, 1865, and passed away at her home in Cresco on January 2, 1908, aged 42 years, 1 month and 15 days.
The deceased came to America in1882 and in 1893 was united in marriage to Albert Gravos. To this union were born six children, the oldest 13 1/2 years and the youngest not quite two years of age, all of whom are left to mourn, with the husband, the loss of a kind and affectionate mother and wife. She also leaves a sister residing at Adams, Minn., and a father and two brothers residing in Norway.
The funeral services took place Sunday afternoon in the United Norwegian Lutheran Church, Rev. Hartman officiating. The interment was in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
The genuine sympathy of all goes out to the bereaved husband and his motherless children in their sad affliction.
