DIED.

MATTHEWS--In Newark, Rock County Wisconsin May 2nd 1878 of Paralysis, Betsey, wife of Jesse F. Matthews, aged about 65 years.

The deceased was a daughter of James Mead, was born in Mayfield Montgomery Co. N. Y., removing from there to Chautauqua Co. in 1836, and to Newark on the farm where she died in 1848. A good woman, a kind wife and indulgent mother, has gone before the righteous Judge for her crown of glory.
