DIED.

LONG.--In Vernon Springs March 28th 1877 Willie, infant son of John T. and Mary C. Long, of Scarletina, aged 1 year 10 months and 20 days.

Transcriber's Note: On April 13, 1877 the Iowa Plain Dealer published the following:

LONG.--In Vernon Springs March 28th 1877 Louisa, daughter of John T. and Mary C. Long, of Scarletina, aged 1 year 10 months and 20 days.

Just before she died she reached her hand to her twin sister and called Lilly, Lilly then raised her eyes to mamma, she pointed upwards three times, then her angel spirit took flight to God who gave it.
