Florence Grush was born at McGregor, Iowa, in 1869, and passed away at the hospital in Cresco on May 25th, 1916, being 47 years of age. She was united in marriage to David Frisble in 1884. Four children were born to them, three boys and one girl, Charles, Alte, Alton and Melba.
Mrs. Frisble lived in Lime Springs for 24 years, moving here in 1881. She was well known in this community as a kind and good woman, faithfully and quietly doing the work in the home and among her friends and neighbors. She united with the Presbyterian church in Lime Springs in 1893. Was a faithful and consistent member as long as she lived in the community. There remains to mourn her loss a husband and four children, one sister and one brother.
The funeral service was held in the Presbyterian church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. W. E. Caldwell, Sabbath afternoon. The text of the sermon was taken from Mark 14-3, "She hath done what she could." The body was laid to rest in Pleasant Hill cemetery.
