SEATTLE, WA - Dale Frank, 74, died Thursday, July 4, 2013 of Parkinson's disease.

He was born and raised on a farm in Cresco Iowa. He graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a master's degree in biology. He continued his education with a year at the University of Texas and a summer at the University of Washington. After moving to the Seattle area in 1969 he taught biology at Evergreen High School in Burien.

He will be remembered for his many talents in woodworking, mechanics, cooking, and conversation. Dale had an intense curiosity about everything, earning him the well-deserved nick name the answer man.

He is survived by his wife Joan; two daughters: Kathy and Sheri; a brother; and a sister.
