DIED.

MUNGER--In the town of Chester, in this county Feb. 2nd 1874, of Inflamation{sp} of the Lungs HELEN MUNGER, wife of Wm. Munger, aged 56 years.

The deceased was born in the town of Pomfert Chautauqua county, New York, was the daughter of Horace Risley and neice{sp} of the Hon. Elijah Risley formerly member of Congress from that county. Mrs. Munger, was with her husband, among the first settlers of this county. Since her residence in our county she has followed her father and mother to the silent mansions of the dead, both of whom sleep beneath the sacred soil of Howard county.

Mrs. Munger was of one of the best families of Chautauqua county, a family loved, respected, and universally esteemed. She was a good, true, pure and christian woman, respected, loved and esteemed by a large circle of friends and acquaintances. She leaves a husband and two children, to mourn their loss.
