Mrs. E.W. Williams, 97, Former Resident, Dies

Mrs. E.W. Williams, a long time resident of Cresco and Howard county, died in Tucson, Arizona hospital Nov. 22 at the age of 97.

Born in Lime Springs Nov. 11, 1877, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.R. Rose. She was married to E.W. Williams of Cresco in 1902.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband who died in 1938; two sisters; and a son Robert.

Mrs. Williams is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Rose Cummings of Tucson, with whom she had made her home for the past five years, and a son, Charles Williams of Minneapolis.

Her ashes will be buried in Oak Lawn cemetery in Cresco at a date to be announced later.
