Wayne Stevens, 22, services held March 9

Funeral services for Wayne Stevens, 22, were held Saturday, March 9, at 1:30 p.m. in the United Methodist Church in Cresco. The Rev. Thomas Woodin officiated with interment in Phillips Cemetery, Bonair. Bradley-Lindstrom Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Wayne Matthew Stevens, son of Gerald Stevens and Mrs. Lois Amundson, was born August 19, 1962, in Cresco. He spent his life in the Bonair area and graduated from Crestwood High School in 1980. He was in his senior year at Iowa State University where he was majoring in mechanical engineering.

Survivors are his parents, Gerald Stevens of Bonair and Mrs. Lois Amundson of Pecan Gap, TX; a sister, Sue Anderson of Ridgeway; and a brother, Paul Stevens, of Bonair.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
