Mrs. Thelma Dozark Cresco Native, Dies

Funeral services for Mrs. Thelma Dozark were held Saturday in the St. Nicholas Catholic church with the Rev. Ronald Friedell officiating. Burial was in the Mount Olivet cemetery in Waterloo. She died Jan. 5 at St. Francis hospital in Waterloo.

She was born Feb. 3, 1912 at Cresco, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Royal Wentworth. She married William L. Dozark on Sept. 5, 1929. She had been a Black Hawk county resident since 1951 and was a member of St. Nicholas church.

Mrs. Dozark is survived by two sons, William C. Dozark of Stillwater, Minn., and Paul R. Dozark of Waterloo; three daughters, Mrs. Margaret I. Kulow of Riceville, Mrs. Diana Cummings and Mrs. Florence A. Sutton both of Waterloo; 25 grandchildren; two brothers, Royal Wentworth of Cresco and Ellsworth Wentworth of San Diego, Calif.; four sisters, Mrs. Lillian Eull, Mrs. Harriet Ball, Mrs. Loretta Tracy and Mrs. Marguerite Matthews all of Minneapolis, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son; two grandchildren; and a brother.
