Died: March 18th, 1868, at the residence of his Son-in-law, Wm. Munger Esq. near Lime Springs, Iowa, Mr. HORACE RISLEY, in hope of a glorious immortality, at the advanced age of 83 years.

The subject of this notice was born in East Hartford Conn. Was married in Cazenovia, N. Y. in 1807, to Miss Harmona Rood, whom with eight children, and many friends has he left to mourn his loss. Father Risley was a worthy member of the Methodist Church. He was buried at Lime Springs with Masonic honors. in accordance with his ardent desire he having been a true friend and patron of A. F. and A, M. for more than half a century, and for nearly 50 years a ROYAL ARCH MASON. After a long and useful life on earth, the Great Master has called our Brother from labor on earth. His exile is ended, his sufferings are over, he dwells with the angels, where the weary are at rest.
