Iowa Plain Dealer Feb. 28, 1868

Died: In Gentry Co. Missouri, Feb. 13th, 1868, Mr. James F. Powell, in the 57th year of age.

The deceased was an early settler of this county and recently moved to Mo., where he met his untimely end by explosion of a steam boiler. he leaves a large family and many personal friends and acquaintances in this vicinity to lament his sad fate.
