Mrs. Mary Laue Died In Merrill, Wisconsin Burial Here Thursday

Mrs. Mary Laue, 83, of the Cresco community, died in the hospital at Merrill, Wisconsin, Monday. The body was brought to Cresco early yesterday morning for burial.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon (Thursday) at 2:00 in the Maple Leaf Lutheran church, with the Rev. F. Sauerbrey, pastor, in charge. Burial will be in the Maple Leaf cemetery. The Bradley Funeral home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Laue was born in Tripoli October 5, 1869. She lived most of her life in Howard county. During the last year and one-half she lived in Merrill.

She was married to Diedrich Lauer and they became the parents of nine children, eight of whom survive. Mr. Laue died in 1928.

Surviving Mrs. Laue are three daughters and five sons, Mrs. Louis Deterding of Riceville, Mrs. Minnie Billington of Merrill, Richard Laue of Cedar Rapids, Paul Laue of Lime Springs, Herman Laue of Elma, Arnold Laue of Cresco, Carl Laue of Irma, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Ida Livingston of Cresco. Also surviving are 26 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
