Henry L. Herold, 86, Dies in California

Word was received in Cresco of the death of Henry L. Herold, D.C. Ph. C. on August 31 at Granada Hills, Calif. He died at the age of 86. He was born Jan. 3, 1888 in Cresco, the son Of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Herold. He was a graduate of the Palmer Chiropractic School in Davenport. He practiced in Cresco 50 years ago.

Funeral services will be held Thursady, Sept. 5, at Our Lady of Lourdes church in Northridge, Calif. Burial will be in the Holy Cross cemetery in West Los Angeles, Calif.

He is survived by six sons Phil H. of Granada Hills, Calif., Justin J. of Garden Grove, Calif., Lucian W. of Boise,Idaho, Norman E. of Granada Hills, Calif,. James H. of Casper, Wyoming, and Robert M. of Canoga Park, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Joan A Hogan of Sepulveda, Calif.;35 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; brothers Albert of Elkton, S. Dak, William of Cresco, John of Kennebac, S. Dak., and Edward of Waterloo: sisters Clara Herold of Cresco, Mary Herold of Cresco, Mrs. Agnes Dvorak of Cresco; Sister Agatha of Milwaukee, Wis.
