Alois J. Hruska, 91, services held Saturday

Services for Alois J. Hruska, 91, were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 13 in Holy Cross Catholic Church, Schley. The Rev. Louis Trzil officiated with burial in the church cemetery. Arrangements were with Conway Funeral Home, Cresco.

He died Dec. 10, 1986 at Evans Memorial Home.

Alois Hruska was born March 31, 1895 in Protivin to Frank and Mary Hruska. He attended the rural schools around Protivin.

On July 3, 1923 Alois married Agnes Opat. They were the parents of three children.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Verne Fenske and Mrs. Joe Ferrie, both of Cresco; nine grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a son, Leonard who died November 22, 1940; also three brothers, Joseph, Frank and William.
