Francis Harris, 58, funeral at Schley

Services for Francis W. Harris, 58, who died August 24 in a nursing home in Charles City, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, (today) in Holy Cross Catholic church in Schley. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Conway Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Francis was born July 27, 1923 in Howard county to William and Georgina Harris. He was a farmer.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Harris of Cresco; three brothers, Roger of Prior Lake, Minn., George Martin of Cedar Falls and Fred of Waterloo; and one sister, Mrs. Gervase (Kathryn) O’Brien of Cresco.

He was preceded in death by a brother, John.
