Roger Story, Cresco Native, Dies at Age 58

Funeral services for Roger E. Story were held July 1 at the St. Joseph Catholic church of Sioux City with the Rev. Msgr. Edward C. Lilly officiating. Burial was at Calvary cemetery.

Mr. Story was born Dec. 6, 1913, in Cresco. He lived in Sioux City most of his life. He was graduated from Central high school in 1932, attended Iowa State college at Ames and served in the Air Force for four years during World War II.

Mr. Story was a U.S. post office letter carrier for 35 years and retired in 1970. Mr. Story was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers, the Retired Civil Service Employees, St. Joseph's Catholic church and the Holy Name Society.

Survivors, include his wife, the Former Mollie Mousel; a son, Michael of Iowa City, a daughter, Mrs. Patricia Miller of East Dubuque, Ill.; six grandchildren, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George E. Story of Sioux City and a brother Lawrence , of Sioux City.
