Monty Melvold, 67, Native of Cresco, Dies

Word has been received of the death of Monty T. Melvold of Los Angeles. He died Nov. 2, at the age of 67. His body was cremated.

He was born July 31, 1908, in Cresco and attended schools in Cresco. He moved with the family to California. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the air force.

Mr. Melvold is survived by his wife, Edna;two brothers, Clarence Melvold of Cresco and Julius Melvold of Sacramento, Calif.; two sisters, Gladys Malcolm of Sacrament, Calif., and Mabel Richards of Trowbridge, Calif.
