Marvin Donlan

Marvin F. Donlan, 80, of Bloomington, passed away peacefully Aug. 1, 2012. Mass of Christian Burial is at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, at the Church of St. Richards, 7540 Penn Avenue South, Richfield, Minn., with visitation at 1 p.m. Burial is at the Church of the Assumption Cemetery, 305 East 77th Street, Richfield, immediately following services. www.GILLBROTHERS.com .

Marvin was born in Cresco, to Nellie (Henry) and Francis Donlan. He attended Loras Academy and College in Dubuque. He began his career with John Deere in the twin cities. He retired from Air Engineering and Supply in 1998. Marvin and his family enjoyed summers at their cabin on Battle Lake, where he enjoyed riding his scooter and socializing. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus and was a member of the KC Credit Union Board of Directors. Marvin enjoyed gardening, wood carving and spending time with his family and friends.

He will be deeply missed by his wife of 56 years, Jean; his sons Patrick (Lori) and Gary; his grandchildren: Mitchell, Kyle (Allison), Katie, John, Jacob, Tara, Tia and Alissa; his sister Elaine (Ken); his brother Clement; nieces, nephews and friends.
