Bryson Holthaus
Bryson Holthaus, newborn, of Cresco, passed away April 5, 2012, at the Regional Health Services of Howard County. A Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Saturday, April 14, at Notre Dame Catholic Church with Father Dennis Cahill officiating. Burial is in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is from 9 to 11 a.m., Saturday, April 14, at the church. Hindt- Hudek Funeral Home, 404 North Elm St. Cresco, Iowa 52136, is in charge of arrangements.
Bryson Holthaus was born April 5, 2012, to Alexa Head and Devin Holthaus in Cresco. During his short time with family, he taught them the meaning of unconditional love. Bryson was a brief gift to his family who will live on in their hearts.
Bryson is survived by his parents, Alexa Head and Devin Holthaus of Protivin; his maternal grandparents, Connie (Scott) Kraft of Riceville and Myron Head of Elma; paternal grandparents, Allen and Brenda Holthaus of Cresco, IA, maternal great grandparents, Harold and Shirley Reuscher, of Waverly, IA, and Lowell and Sandra Head of Alta Vista; paternal great-grandparents, Leona Whalen of Cresco, Eddie Whalen of Canton, Minn. and Dorothy Holthaus of Cresco; his aunts and uncle, Myranda (Eli Albrecht) Head of New Hampton and their daughter Jaila, Dalton Head of Phoenix, Ariz.; Alyvia Ries of Riceville, Rachel (Rod) Vsetecka of Cresco and their children Danica and Derek; and Sarah Schutte of Cresco and her daughter Haley; and many great-aunts and –uncles.
His paternal great-grandfather, Severin Holthaus, husband of Dorothy, precedes him in death.
